And its Shadow. Took some time to do this one. I'm pretty happy with the results though.
Someone shoot those shoes, they tried to kill me while I made them. They were a REAL pain to make. You might have guessed but I made this model by HEAVILY modifiing my Sonic model. Quills and shoes were the ultimate pain to make, but really worth it in the end. I decided not to use a reference when modifing it and do it free form. Was trying to think of a pose to put Shadow in, and him beating up Ashura popped into my head. And predictably, this is how the fight results. Not fully satisfied with the eyes on Shadow, more work to do later. I just have one word to say to Ashura: OWNED! Made 100% in Blender Shadow and Sonic character design © SEGA/Sonic Team Ashura is © to no one This Ashura's design, models, and art © me Edit: I went to another computer where the monitor is not super dark. I can see why the eyes look weird now, I'll have to fix it later. |

When Sonic characters look behind them at an angle, the eye closest the angle goes downward, not just.. sideways. Try putting it forward a bit, and angle both downwards a little.
Nice render! I have a few theories for getting good Sonic-esque eyes; ask me about them since I'll forget.

3D is not the addition but the multiplication of a dimension. Think voxels. A 1024*800 picture of 819200 pixels becomes a 1024*800*1024 image of 838860800 voxels. Don't underestimate it.
