Did I ever mention I hate making chairs for the hedgehogs, the stupid quills get in the way.

I'm revisiting my Question and Answer Session from before.
New questions and some more. Its kind of annoying being asked the same thing over and over.

Already asked questions
What programs do I use for my art?
I use
Blender for current 3D modeling and my main work
Adobe Imageready and Photoshop to touch up rendered works.
Macromedia Flash 8 to make my flash animations.
Micrographix Picture Publisher 7 for various things.

In the past I also used Micrographix Simply 3D 2 to make 3D art, but I have replaced that with Blender.

As for what I use in each picture, I state what was used at the end of the artist's comments.


Can I use your model?
No, I have a policy against letting other people get their hands on the models I create. Call me paranoid but I don't want to just give out something I worked really hard on.


Why didn't I watch you when you watched me?
While its common to return watch here on DeviantART, I do not follow this. I will only watch someone who I believe I will enjoy being alerted to their art as its posted.

Basically, I will watch you only if I like what I see in your gallery. If you watch me just so I'll watch you, you will be sadly disappointed.

However, whenever someone I don't reconginze , watches me, or comments on my profile, journal, or deviations, I will go take a look at their account. If I like what I see their will be a watch, if not that's it.


Why don't I comment more often
I kind of only will comment on something if I can think of something to comment more then "Nice Work" or "That's cool." I hate giving unhelpful comments. If I a deviation it means I like it.


Do I take requests, commissions, or trades?
Under normal circumstances no. Due to the nature of how long it takes to create a 3D model I can't afford to take the time to make a lot of stuff for other people.

There are three exceptions to this
1) If I feel I owe you something or am feeling very generous for some reason I may offer to make something for you.

This is at my complete discretion. If you make me something it doesn't mean I owe you, that's my call.

2) I will do requests in a limited fashion, check out my Requests Journal

3) You can still freely give me ideas for models to make, scenes to put my current models in, animations, ect. I won't promise to make anything, but I consider every idea. If I like it enough and have time I might just act on it.

I might also offer to do a request/trade/commission for no reason. This is at my complete discretion.

Will I join/help your team/project/whatever?
While I'm flattered you'd like me to help you with your project or whatever it is, I prefer to work alone.

Once again, if I make an exception to this that is at my discretion.

You can however freely use any of my work with a creative commons license attached. If you want to use some of my other art just ask.

How did I learn to use Blender and make 3D art?
My art is the result of trial and error. I read Blender's manual to understand the interface and to answer questions I have as well as to learn new features. Then I go and practice until I get it right.


How do I do <insert action> in Blender?
Do I have the words "Instruction Manual" plastered on my forehead or something?

Have you checked the manual yet?
If no go read it. If yes and you still don't understand, then ask me.

Remember I don't know everything about Blender, I'm still learning it myself.


Will I teach you how to make models/use Blender?
No an no.

I cannot teach anyone to model, my own meathod is something I understand how to do, but not how to explain. Its something I taught myself, an thus can't really explain.

And I will not teach how to use blender, as I said in the last question there is a manual for a reason.


May I use your characters in some art?
If its one of my actual characters then you need to ask me and tell me what you want to use them in.


I don't read read artist comments, so won't you just answer my questions?
Ain't my fault your not reading what's been written that contains the answer to your question. If your not going to bother reading what I wrote about the picture and ask what is answerd, I'm not going to bother answering.


What is my inspiration?
Generally whatever is in front my eyes, or what I'm hearing.


Will you be my friend?
If I'm going to be your friend then you don't even have to ask.


What are some models/art/animation I'm working on?
You'll just have to wait and see.

- No questions about the fangames I create

- No limit to number of questions that can be asked
